Lavender Lemonade

Lavender Lemonade ... you'll autumn inwards dear amongst its beautiful as well as calming shade of pink, as well as its fragrant floral season of lavender.

I am absolutely enamoured amongst this lavander lemonade.

Isn't it beautiful?

Such a calming and comforting shade of pink.  Like the inside of a polished seashell.  You know, those large ones you check upwards to your ear as well as you're supposed to hear the ocean?

On a recent mount cabin get-away girls' weekend amongst 1 of my friends, nosotros went poking around some shops inwards a trivial mount town.  I stumbled across a department inwards the dorsum corner of 1 of these trivial shops dedicated to lavander products from Mountain Farm, a lavander (and huckleberry as well as dairy goat) farm inwards the Appalachian Mountains of western North Carolina.

Since many of the products had to produce amongst cooking, I ... of class ... 'got stuck' inwards this corner for quite some fourth dimension ... reading all the production labels, my require heed swirling amongst ideas.

I'd never cooked amongst lavender.  And I was intrigued.  I swear I could convey bought every production inwards there.

I settled on only three.  Pretty proficient restraint on my part, if I produce nation as well as thus myself.

One of them was this A Taste of Lavender cookbook from Mountain Farm, amongst a trivial package of dried lavander inwards the back.

As shortly equally I got habitation I gave Mountain Farm's lavender lemonade recipe a try.

And I dear it.  Lemonade infused amongst the florally fragrant gustation of lavender.  But not too much, as well as thus it's overpowering.  It was only correct to me.

Over ice, a tall drinking glass of lavander lemonade is perfectly refreshing on a hot summertime day.  Yup, I'll hold out making lavander lemonade 1 time again ... for sure.
