The Garlic Breadstuff That Near Ended My Wedlock Earlier It Began

Mom's Garlic Bread is the perfect accompaniment to a hearty pasta meal.  This tardily thick-cut garlic breadstuff is crunchy on the outside, soft together with chewy on the inside, together with oh thence delicious!


This is my Mom's 'famous' garlic bread.  And it almost ended my union earlier it began.  Seriously.  And it all goes dorsum to the rattling commencement repast I cooked for my now-hubby Mark dorsum inwards January, 2003, when nosotros had just started dating ...

And so, for the commencement repast I always cooked for my then-boyfriend-now-husband Mark, I decided to brand my Mom's lasagna together with garlic breadstuff ... a genuinely classic together with delicious combination that was sure to please.  And I for certain did wishing to brand a adept impression!  We all know the one-time proverb that the best agency to man's pump is through his stomach, right?


So I whipped upwards a batch of Mom's lasagna together with vi pieces of yummy garlic breadstuff 2 pieces for me for dinner, 2 pieces for Mark for dinner, together with 2 to receive got leftover for me for the side yesteryear side day.  {breakfast process yum!}

Well, the dinner did indeed brand a adept impression.  So when it came fourth dimension for Mark to move out that evening, I made a 'care package' of lasagna to post domicile alongside him.  Yes, I was sweetness similar that.

Mom's 'Famous' Garlic Bread

Ingredients
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 4 to vi T. butter, softened
  • garlic salt
Directions
  1. Slice breadstuff into 1-inch to 1 together with 1/2-inch thick slices. Spread both sides alongside butter, roofing each piece correct to the edges. Sprinkle both sides generously alongside garlic salt.
