Salted Nighttime Chocolate Bourbon Fudge

Salted.  Dark Chocolate.  Bourbon.  Fudge.   there's non a unmarried ane of those words I don't like.  And when you lot pose them all together inwards ane sweetness bite? It's a footling seize amongst teeth of chocolate-bourbon heaven.



This Salted Dark Chocolate Bourbon Fudge is ane of those creations where I could only allow the refer too photos beak for themselves too non write a unmarried word.  Because, truly, at that spot are no words for how absolutely delicious this fudge is!

If you're a bourbon fan ... which I am ... Salted Dark Chocolate Bourbon fudge is a footling seize amongst teeth of bourbon heaven.

I made 3 'spirited' fudges this calendar week too brought around of each to my Mom to sense of savor examination ...

I lined them upwards amongst this bourbon ane last.

Then she picked upwards the 3rd ane ... the Salted Dark Chocolate Bourbon ane ... popped it inwards her oral cavity ... too said ...

"Ooooohhhhhh, that's  goooooooooood."


Those of us who dear to ready too feed people know that reaction, right?  It's the reaction nosotros alive for.  To know we've imparted only a footling demeanour on of joy amongst the tasty seize amongst teeth we've created.

ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 8 T. (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 c. whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 13 large marshmallows, torn inwards half
  • 1 c. Ghiradelli bittersweet chocolate chips {just over 1/2 of a 10 oz. package}
  • 1 1/4 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 c. + 2 T. bourbon
  • 1/4 tsp. fleur de sel {or to sense of savor ... I similar it only lightly sprinkled}

instructions:

How to ready Salted Dark Chocolate Bourbon Fudge

  1. Line a 9x9" pan, bottom too sides, amongst foil. Rub foil amongst butter or lightly spray amongst nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a pocket-size bowl, whisk together confectioners carbohydrate too bourbon. Set aside.
